Hi everyone,
I want to ask the specialist persons in this group some questions about mySAP ERP reference models that will help me in research:
Is there reference models for mySAP ERP?
If yes, How I can get those models? and what about the levels of existence models (business process, organizational chart, functions level, and data level)
What is the tool used for modeling mySAP ERP reference models? And how I can get this tool??

Re: tally of conditions on a column
Simplest solution is to insert a CrossTab. Set Part Type as the column and Count as the summary type.
A slightly more complex solution is to create 3 formulas.
The formula to count how many records had Part Type A Type A would look like this:
IF {OrderDetail.PartType} = "A" Then 1 ELSE 0
Then, SUM that formula to derive the conditional count.

Re: PJL displaying on Crystal Printing for certain printers
Sorry for the long delay.
I now have the printer in my possession. I am adding the drivers as we speak.
In fact, the printer is an HP Photosmart 5525.
Where would the driver be placed? I am seeing a UNIDRV.dll in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 folder, but I don't think that is where it has been installed.
I am on a Windows 8 PC now.

I need to edit the app in such a way that only certain data entry field are visible depending on the work are the staff are in.
For instance construction, hr, accounts....
At the minute the app only allows you to hide based on the leave type.
But my problem is that i am not a back end sap expert, so no matter how much i look i can not find/understand just where the oData service for my leave request is being defined, i am also unable to locate the bap code that generates the oData returns.
I have searched using SE80 and infwd/maint_service transactions and although i can find an entry in the second one, i can one find which part of the system is actually generating the data.
I hope that makes sense :/

Vacation accrual - custom schema rule
Hi,
Need some help in building custom rule for schema KVAC - running Canadian Payroll. The requirement is when an employee is transferred from one province to another in the middle of the year, there is a different rate that has to be applied to calculate Vacation accrual from the effective date. Currently the system calculates the Accrual for the whole year.
Example: A employee is moved from the company code 1000 to 1300 say on 26.6.2015, the province changes from BC to SK. The vacation rate calculation changes from 5% to 6%. How can the rule be configured? which rule has to be customized or just add a new rule.

Edit fields in CRM-CHM Resale Screen (CMSD_RTCM)
Hello,
I cannot find the configuraton/settings in CRM that control if a field on a RTCM record(resale or claim)
is editable in the SAP Gui transaction.
i.e. I want to edit the Resale Invoice number on a MSST record and save the record.
Can someone point me to the settings that control what fields are editable on the CRM-CHM screens?

you can't send back header AND bapiret unless you consolidate your entity (header components + bapiret2 components). in this case move-corresponding to temp strucure and copy_data_to_ref should be enough
i am not sure if you throw /iwbep/cx_mgw_busi_exception and populate ER_DEEP_ENTITY at the same time, how that would be treated (http code and response payload) but you can try
crazy idea to persist bapiret as server side cookie and return unique ID as part of header property and crete sicf service to read it and return

Changes not visible after transporting the code through CMS
Hi Experts,
We have moved our code from Sandbox to Development and then the same file from Development to Quality through NWDI. The changes are getting reflected in Development environment but not in the Quality environment. CMS shows that the transports are successful to Quality.
Can anyone please suggest what could be causing this issue?
Is there issue with the deployment, if yes how to re-deploy the component in Staging.

Not necessarily... try that also and see the 2165260 KBA on registry keys also.
For WEB app's use the No Printer option or install the printer on the app Web server and see this MS KBA on how to allow IIS access to all printers:

If all else fails then use the constant size font Courier New, each character uses up the exact same amount of space so you can resize the object accordingly.
Most spacing issues are Printer related though...
